The information seems to have come from the newly (re)published biography of Governor Palin. (Her Wikipedia entry also notes her Catholic background, and mentions her "rebaptism" at age 12 in an Assembly of God church.) The question is: Will this matter to any Catholic voters? Or, for that matter, to any voters? Her current religious affiliation, that is a "post-denominational" Christianity, which is perhaps more germane to her worldview, is dissected by John Allen here.
