Reincarnation/re-embodiment was suppressed by the Roman Catholic Church and largely edited out of the sacred text largely not over the issue of salvation via Jesus Christ, but rather the lie of eternal damnation for a lack of personal infallibility regarding religious doctrines in order to have people blindly follow the Roman Catholic Church. Alas too many Protestants fall for this, not only denying reincarnation or re-embodiment, but accepting this Romish doctrine the eternal damnation over a lack of such personal infallibility. I have heard this sort of cryto Romanism from a fellow Christian classmate at Hillsdale College who later transferred to a 'Baptist Bible College" refer to people he knew who would be so damned over some theological issue or another, even though such persons had received Jesus Christ as their Messiah!
The doctrine of eternal damnation for a lack of personal infallibility goes directly against that of salavation for accepting Jesus Christ as Messiah.

B. FRANKLIN
Dr. Franklin, a scientist of international renown, also believed in Reincarnation, of which he wrote:
"When I see nothing annihilated (in the works of God) and not a drop of water wasted, I cannot suspect the annihilation of souls, or believe that He will suffer the daily waste of millions of minds ready made that now exist, and put Himself to the continual trouble of making new ones. Thus, finding myself to exist in the world, I believe I shall, in some shape or other, always exist; and, with all the inconveniences human life is liable to, I shall not object to a new edition of mine, hoping, however, that the errata of the last may be corrected."At the age of twenty-two, having already be- come a Walk-in, he wrote his own epitaph, which Carl Van Doren has called "the most famous of American epitaphs."
The Body of B. Franklin, Printer, Like the Cover of an Old Book, Its Contents Torn Out And Stripped of its Lettering and Gilding, Lies Here Food for Worms, But the Work shall not be Lost, For it Will as He Believed Appear Once More In a New and more Elegant Edition Revised and Corrected By the Author. And at the seasoned age of seventy-four, taking a long look into the as-yet-unturned pages of history, Ben Franklin wrote to Joseph Priestley, the Discoverer of oxygen, as follows:
"It is impossible to imagine the height to which may be carried, in a thousand years, the power of man over matter. We may perhaps learn to deprive large masses of their gravity, and give them absolute levity, for the sake of easy transport. Agriculture may diminish its labour and double its produce; all diseases may by sure means be prevented or cured, not excepting even that of old age, and our lives lengthened at pleasure even beyond the antediluvian standard. 0 that moral science were in as fair a way of improvement, that men would cease to be wolves to one another, and that human beings would at length learn what they now improperly call humanity."

This is a novelty for me, I believed millions of Christians murdered by the Vatican because they believed in the salvation alone from Faith and not in salvation in the works...
Well, you provided a good link about reincarnation before. That was the belief that was holding my wife back from being saved. Salvation is very easy, the Roman church has always tried to make it very hard.

Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
2 Corinthians 5:8 - We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Matthew 25:46 - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
etcetc
Forgot the scriptures to add:
Matthew 23:3 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye SHUT UP THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ.
Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Men, Man = Body with Spirit.
Yes each Man and Woman dies once, though the Spirit Lives On.
Are you saying you believe in reincarnation? Can you clarify? I may write about reincarnation soon. [I do not believe in it, and when I was UU, that one was sold across the board]
Yes, I do.
As one can see from links as this, Protestant Christianity has been seriously influenced by Romanism.

Benjamin Franklin was reincarnated as Abraham Lincoln who returned as Albert Einstein who was reincarnated as ---. Google: Reincarnation Theory & its 26 Principles including Theory of Luck equation.
Jesus son of Joseph like John the Baptist was an Essene and practiced the ancient sacred Mysteries including reincarnation. John taught it in Matthew 3:2 and Jesus in Matt 4:17, 6:19-21, 11:14-15, etc. "Born again". Saul/Paul was not an Essene or disciple of Y'shua and he was not instructed in the Mysteries.
Transmigration of the soul, rebirth, resurrection, metempsychosis (Greek) were all terms for reincarnation in the 1st century. Ancient Egyptian religion was all about reincarnation. Most Jews today and all Kaballists and Freemasons believe in reincarnation. Science has now proven it. See the book 'Soul Survivor' about the toddler who remembers his previous life as a WWII pilot in detail.
The Bible ends with the return of the Christ and the "resurrection of the dead". There's two ways this could happen: (A) zombie apocalypse where corpses come out of their graves like Michael Jackson's Thriller or (B) reincarnation.

QUOTE Saul/Paul was not an Essene or disciple of Y'shua and he was not instructed in the Mysteries. END QUOTE
Paul expressely affirmed to have received the doctrine from Jesus Christ:
Galatians 1:1, 11-12 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (AV 1611)
Ephesians 3:2-3 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to youward:
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, (AV 1611)
It is practically impossible to conciliate reincarnation with "Paul's" (Jesus') doctrine of salvation. Otherwise one has to reject Paul's book as "fabricated", "false". But this easy game could backfire. Why not then to accuse of "deception" or "falsity" the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, etc. when (apparently) colliding with Paul's?... Or even alleged witnesses of "reincarnation", deconstructing the proof with the help of psichology or even explaining it with the intervention of evil spirits?...
If it is clear that the same experiences of Alien abductions could never have been a real experience, but a devilish sort of hypnotic creation of false memories (by evil spirits), why not to imagine that also alleged memories of previous reincarnations, could be an implanted false memory?
